ok i have a cannon ixus 400 (4mega pixie), and iv found out its actually rather good at night shots, BUT i shake to much, so i decided to look for a tri pod, dotn want to spent mega money....

seems alright for a compact digi
my first one cost me 35 until the top bit snapped off coz its plastic
so i got a proper aly manfrotto jobby for 150

ICY's is nice but all you need is somthing light. the tripod will feel a bit plasticy but will do the job well ( i have a plasticy one) have a look on ebay or check out www.7dayshop.co.uk for a cheap one

dont care really if it feels plasticy, dont want to spend to much as ill prob get bored of it after using it twice
