Which do people prefer? Im asking as my mate recently replaced his VTS for the Cupra:

0-100mph 21sec
1/4mile 16.4sec @ 89mph

Cupra:

1.8 20v T
180bhp
142mph

Very nice Xsara that, alot of car for very little money, considering the Leon's go for £8k+

I feel the in gear times would be considerably better in the Leon. Possibly the xsara may be more polished in the handling department.
