Yes DVLA prices include the transfer fee. You pay what you see off of thier site. All the other sites kinda scam people by displaying the prices without the transfer fee and sometimes without VAT, so when you go to buy you get a little disapointed

Not sure what you do really with the original mark. I think it's all included in the transfer fee, unless you alread have a private plate on the car. In which case you'll need to get a form from the Post Office to put the plate on retention, which costs more money

£8 to swap your plate onto another car or £105 to take off and retain for 1 year....£25 each year there after.
Doesnt seem to be any hidden charges on that site....although its strange there cheaper than the DVLA site!

£80 to take FUU off.
£25 to put it on retention or free to assign it to another car in your name if you prefer, but then its another £80 quid to take it back off again as per above.
DVLA direct VAT and transfer are included so 250 total. Third party sites always add on VAT, transfer, other crap and it works out more.
FUU is worth 600-800 if you're selling.

Ebay or some sites will advertise it on your behalf and take a fee from the sale

If you can sell it yeah!
www.regtransfers.co.uk will value your plate then email you asking if you wish to try and sell it through them for a % fee of the selling price!

£80 to transfer from one car to another - just take doc's for both cars to DVLA office (if you send it takes forever!) otherwise £105 to get it on a piece of paper for a year saying you own it, after that years up another £25 to keep it on certificate otherwise DVLA own it

so i can pay £80 to transfer it onto the blue corsa & then when i come to sell it i can make the buyer pay the transfer fee
i imagine they re-issue you a new tax disk as well

Cheeky sod making someone pay the transfer - IMO if your not keeping the car dont transfer plate on!
If you go to office they print you a new TAX disc out and give you an envelope to send the old one back in

If its your intention to sell it, don't put it on the blue one.
Its alright saying the buyer with pay the transfer but that might sway the sale.
For the sake of £25 now you'll spend £80 in lost bids in the future.
I'd personally put it on eBay starting at 99p and finishing on a week day.
No reserve, nothing. It'll close right. Its a very busy category.
