The latest you can join a modern apprentiship is usually 23 i think.

i heard that after 19 you have to pay for it yourself? Anyways, started one at 17 then started 2nd one in mechanics at 18. Just gone upto level 3 now, so moneys getting better. Good luck if your over 19 or so, the money for 1st yr is like £600 a month

i was 16 when i started, 4 years ago!!!
theres a guy on my course who was 20 when he started.
go for it whatever it is mate. better than doing a levels and degrees with no job to go to at the end of them
