Hi
as the above topic reads, a few months back my sister was parked outside some shops between 2 cars by the roadside. so when she decided to move off she reversed into a car which was parked 1 metre behind her .  There wasnt any damage but my sis gave her insurance details neway and like 5 months later we get a letter from their solicitors claimin for whiplash  , apparently there was woman sittin in the car and now they r claimin for injuries i.e. whiplash. wat makes me angry is that the people aint claimin for damage to the car but for personal injuries.
sorry for the essay but
can any1 give me an idea where i stand on this issue

make a witness up saying he/she saw it and no one was sitting in the hit car.

No chance, its to long after the accident and I bet the chav claiming did'nt even get go to hospital to record it.

well theyve sent medical documentation from there GP and other bs and they aint chavs , they are pakistanis who cant speak proper english

mate there always claiming that stuff, suddenly when someone hits them in the rear they have a full car and everyone has whiplash, there no medical way to prove someone does not have whiplash as there is it does not show up in the xray, liv vic will appoint this to a personal accident dpt, the guys who work there are like 40 and would have had cases like this all the time. note, all accidents in bradford are automatically referred to senior claims consultants...

bet the gp is proberbly either a close family friend or related in some way, there will be loads of false claims that go through, hope they just give it up otherwise as said by ojc they will proberbly get money out of it for nothing

surely no1 can get whiplash from a car reversin like 1 metre from a standstill , imagine the momentum of the car !! . grrrr this compensation culture severely pisses me off
