just found out there's two different types of plugs.... and each plug has a diff way to use the paper clip... wut wud happen if i got mixed up?

yeah, there is a 10 pin plug on mostly 8v's and 16 pin plugs on 16v's. if yours is a 10 pin, bridge a and b which is the two pins at the top right of the plug. if its a 16 pin then bridge pin 6 and 5 which are the 3rd and 4th ones down on the left hand side of the plug.
