ive got a date with the quarter mile 12th December at crail and need to surprise a few cars but the car is underfueling ATM.

Current spec is

C20XE 2.0 16v
decat pipe, scorpion exhaust,
pipercross filter,
Omega pistons,
lightened and balanced crankshaft
black diamond clutch,
reprofiled cams

got a ported and polished head that is going on just need to replace a few valves 1st,

Need advice on fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator..
The car was in the rolling road and was underfueling badly.. current pump is from the corsa SRI 8v so im thinking that it is gubbed as the car has done a good few miles..

so need a bigger pump which one, and ive heard of using a sapphire cossie fuel pressure regulator any1 shed some light on this??

PLus any hints and tips would be good as its my 1st 1/4 mile run...

im also gona strip the car of its interior just to shed some time as well

a c/x16xe pump and a FSE reg will do more than enough.... on std injectors too

1/4mile tips.... for a c20xe'd corsa..

I've always found it best sitting at the lights with rev at near idle, no hand brake on or any thing... then go on orange..

that got me a 14.4 in a std c20

Raising the revs caused to much spin

Put a 3Bar FPR on found on the later XE's with blue injectors and the LETs too. Then check it again. Otherwise get the new head on and all then got to the RR and have an adjustable FRP (FSE for example) set so it's running right.
Or just squeeze yours till it's right
