Yeah thing is with them that the GPS receiver has to be monted on the dash and you cant use it unless plugged in, i think anyway my mate has the dell one with tom tom, this one doesnt have tom tom software but is V similar and IMO just as good, also the GPS receiver is built in so can be used wherever whenever!

tom tom software is fantastic, i suggest you get a good receiver though as sometimes on a cold start you may be waiting for 5 mins to get a signal from a satellite. the ppc should be fine once its loaded, just dont use it for anything else! like dont install ppc games on it, you prob wouldnt be able to anyway with the amount of memory

I got my gps system a while back.,.. its pretty mint i admit very useful at times espcially when you are useless at finding places.

I got a PDA from work (we had them cheap) which cost me £100, plus the adapter from Ebay (i think it was about £80) and various cables/chargers etc which came to another £30

I didn't bother getting a stand as the PDA i got (fujitsu siemens 610) actually perfectly fits in the Corsa Glove box "lip" which was pretty mint

Sometimes it cant find the satalites which is a bit annoying and it has trouble going through "houses" which is a pain in the arse when you are trying to configure it. I got the software off the internet which wasn't too difficult although it did take some time to ..... deliver if you know wha i mean

All in all i'm pretty happy for what i paid for it , how ever i have heard that TomTom Go is better value for money.....
