I'm on Xbox Connect at the mo, XBL once my starter kit comes through.
Won't be on PG2 tho, Halo, Halo2 and XIII

I got it Carr The 2nd. I play gotham alot as i used to play rainbow six but now everyones got halo and i dont wanna get it. id rather get nfsu2 and pro evo

Everybody be carefull on live. If you have a modded hard drive you'll get banned now even if the chip is off.

Hence why you get a 2nd hard drive and fit a switch to the power cable to choose between either drive  leave one drive untouched, mod the other

anyone know where the cheapest place for an xbox live kit is?
also, whats the deal with modding? i take it i cant mod my xbox and still use xbox live? (i dont want two HDs)

You can mod your xbox and use xbconnect if thats any consolation

You can use live no prob as long as you switch the chip off and don't have a modded harddrive.

I got my xbox live kit for 28 quid That was with works discount. Think they are still priced at 39.99 at gamestation

no, for 39 quid you get the headset and 12months membership then you simply pay for the membership after the 12months are up etc etc
but im trying to find the cheapest place for the kit and like rocafella said, most places are 40

if you want it cheap you are better off buying like the gotham package where you get the game and the starter kit for £60. If you aint got gotham already that is.

Four things:
www.custom-xmodz.co.uk (duoX2 cheap but, does what you need)
www.xbox-scene.com (this is Xboxsport)
www.ebay.co.uk (EVOX boot disk)
www.xbconnect.com (no more paying for xbox live)
