yes P.E are good - ...

Ian Ball will even tell you how you can improve the way your car runs by looking at the power read outs.

First time I went there, I got 64 bhp, and he told me my air flow meter was fucked. I replaced it and went back and got 81 bhp.

75 standard + 6 bhp for cat back exhaust.

When I went on my own it cost £45! - when I went with CS it was £35...

235 cars is a lot of cars to get through!!! probably will be cheap though if there's that many.

Did wonder

yeh we had about 30 ish as we went with tim's brother's Volvo group... Those T-5's were kicking out 300+ bhp (the sound on the rollers was mad!)... made my car look so pathetic.

But as one of them said "IT means in a straight line we can embarress almost anything, get a slight corner however and we're FUCKED!"

Is this the first time your cars been RR'd since you've got all the gear on your engine? would be interesting to see what you get.

haha - I'd hate to get my car rolling roaded now ... It'd make about 50 bhp at a guess so many things fucked on it...you can feel the power (the lack of) drop off at about 4500 rpm at the moment If I could sell my car easily, I'd buy a 106 gti tommorrow.

there is quite a lot you can do, but not worth it for the money...

The main is from Dbilas (can be bought from regal in the uk) ...

replacement upper and lower inlet manifold, with a unichip that is mapped by them...

looks like this...

A couple of people have this for their 1.2 16v's - 1 of them made 105 bhp @ the fly with a standard exhaust. (75 - 105 = 30 increase)

So with a exhaust + exhaust manifold, + cams + whatever else you wanna chuck at it ... you could have 115+ bhp...

HOWEVER, you won't have the torque to match it - so you'll be able to get an ok top speed (or not as F13 is limited to something like 119mph) - but really acceleration won't be brilliant (quicker than it is, but not 2.0 beater or anything)...

Plus the dbilas package (inlet, chip and mapping) costs £850!

Not really worth it (though I was tempted if they had offered me a cheaper discount)

But what if you want to sell the car afterwards?

More saleability if its got a 1.2 16v rather than a 2.0 16v
