Rite i sold some fone on ebay so some dude

it was fully working when i tested it etc!

he emailed me 2 weeks after purchase and said its faulty and cannot be reparied!

the fone was £103, he has now decided to take legal action against me through ebay fraud squad!!

where does he stand and where do i stand? i offered to pay to fix it but he said it cant be fixed...(reception goes off and on sometimes)

unless he can prove that you knew it was faulty at time of sale i dont see that he has a leg to stand on legally.


Let him do what he wants mate-- you sold the phone in good faith and he cant prove other wise--- sod him.

how can i sod him tho?! im not arsed if he takes me to court over a £105 fone!

almost the same happened to Jaffa over a camera iirc - they claimed it was faulty after they got it - dont know what happened about it - not seen him for a while - bt worth a u2u just in case

it looks like its developed a software problem...he said it was "unlocked and it cause a fault"

i wrote back and said that "the fone was sim free and not assigned to any network....therefore it was NOT unlocked"
