howdies all,
i know sweet F'A about tyresm apart from the fact there the bits of rubber around my 13" steelies 
anyways, i need two new 165/70/R13's and was wondering what people would recommend - especially considering its getting cold and icy (snow)? 
Heard goodyears are good in the dry and wet, but shite in snow/ice etc so thats ruled them off - as i was gonna get some

Michellins are good in dry and last forever, but are too crap in the wet. i just got some bridgestones for mine, and they seem very good so far in the wet.

Try Falken FK-451's - I have these on my 17's and they are excellent in the wet and even better in the dry. Not tried them in ice yet though.

how about u take this opportunity to throw away your 13's and get some proper wheels like 17's

because id rather some acceleration than looking like the local chav twat with alloys and no other mods  Plus its even more hassle on getting the speedo recalibrated etc
yea, old man just said bridgestones are pretty good on his audi And yea, i like the michelin's, currently got energy jobbies on the front and there alright in the dry, but like you say Sri5 naff in the wet
ill have a look at falkens though, neard anything about them but hey, ill try anything once

I feel you are uneduacted in this area. You could get 16's to be the same rolling raduis, and get 17's to be very close. Also, a car with some nice rims and a subtle drop doesn't look at all ned, its when they put all sorts of shitty kit on but still have steelies

the closest my car will come to being modded is maybe some white wheels on coilovers and a LET...but for time being its staying standard
And yes, i know you can get 16s to be similar in rolling radius by using smaller profile tyres etc etc but i have better things to spend cash on at the moment than alloys and other plastic bolt ons
although you have u2u about something totally different
