As above bought one off ebay (second hand) fitting it tomorrow, but thought i would power it up to see if it works.
It powers up and the screen comes out when you press open, but it doesnt hinge up(if u see wot i mean?) it juts stays out flat and dosent light up.
I am wondering if you need and input on it? eg ps2 etc to make it turn on properly?
any ideas?
its a panasonic with a hideaway unit buy the way, and doesnt have cd player or radio is purely a moniter.
cheers

some of the older stuff was on semi-auto. You used to have to lift them up manually, but theyd come out auto if ya get me.
And again with the source. may need an input to display an image. wouldnt know without really seeing it. dont panick yet

cheers mate, i kinda thought it may need a source, thats why i am only semi panicking atm lol. have got all day to play about with it tomaz so hopefully well sort it. My local car audio shop is quite good, so if i get really stuck i well give them a shout.
I dont think it comes up manually as it feels really firm(oohh err!!) and after a few secondes it goes back in by itself, so hopin if i plug ps2 in it well work, fingers crossed!!
Thanks for the positive feedback, was gettin bit worried!!
