coming home form my g/f's last nite. came on of this junction and my car started too rattle. very slightly at first and then i got louder and louder. i sound like id fooked the engine like the cam belt had gone. got my mum too tow me home had a look last nite and coulnt see anything apart form the alternator belt was loose.
Started too think wot i could be started on the, snapoped spring, drpped a volve all sorts!
had a look this morning tools out ready too take the rocker cover off.
Was the fooking pully for the alternator belt! had worked its way loose and was ratterling. put it bk on and runs sweet as a well 1.2 8v lol!

well done mate some ppl would of not even looked at it and took it to some grease monkey who would of charged way over the odds.

yeh well im a hands on person i put the engine in so i was gonna get ready too strip it down lol
glad its up and running tho gonan get a new bolt tho on monday as this 1's head is a bit fooked

i drove back from koncept in mine with the worst noise, thought it was can belt too - turned out it was the fly wheel cover thing on the gearbox
