to fix the cv joint (i think its that thats bust)
hope it wont cost too much 
gotta MOT the sxi this month & tax it ready for selling, fix the gear linkage on the 1.2 8v & get that MOT'd
i really wanted to buy some new tyres this month for the new wheels i bought 
any ideas what it'll cost me to have a cv joint replaced?

well i had to have it towed there so it will be about £20 for that 
as long as its the wallet friendly side of £100 i'll be happy

Is a CV joint the thing that bolts to the track rod end/arm?

looking more to the thick end of £100 as they will prolly have to replace the boot as well. I paid £50 for a pair of 2nd hand inner and outter CV's to find my driver side needs doing now

3 years ago or so I had a 1.2 nova and I was charged just under £100 then so god knows what they will charge you for that mate

They aint hard to fix, i think im gonna do a tutorial sometime next week on fitting them, they are quite easy to do.

Reconned CV's are about £25, only took me about half an hour to swap mine so as long as its not in a main dealers you should see change from £100.
