went out to a shopping centre earlier and had to park on the third level, where the rain was fucking coming down, drive up there was fine and for the last 7 months the car has been fine (since i bought it), started it up when i come back to it and it was like it didnt have any idle control as it just stalled straight away but then started again straight away, just kept the revs up out of the car park gave it a hammering and it was dipping to 500rpm then back to normal, not cutting out. after i got home it would vary sometimes be normal stickl at 900rpm and sometimes dip down to 500rpm then back up but not stall.
well after all of that i usually fill up with optimax (2.0 16v) and i filled up with unleaded yesterday - which i wouldnt think would cause this  more likely it got damp somehow?!?!? 206 gti btw
