got the game today, gotta say its quality. loading times is abit long tho at some points but overal CLASS 
the other parts of the city are closed (liek previous GTA'S) but you can swim to them LOL but your highly wanted by the police if you do that!
just thought i would spoil it for you lot who are waiting for it on the 29th.

its on ps2 on the 29th and xbox isnt planned but prob will around next year soem point.

What's hand to hand combat like - is it still as shit as before? or have they improved that?
Tell me some cool other features? I love the fact you can now swim! used to annoy me so much when I jumped from a boat to aboat and died or lost control of my car into the water and died...

ummm... well convenience stores have little arcade games to play on... you can ride a chopper bike... you know them old push bikes? lol and you can go do tricks with it in idelwood.
the graphics are class everything is improved not tried hand to hand combat(you mean a punch up thing?) erm.... the game is huge it'll last everyone MONTHS cos theres just so much you can do.
anyway im off of here in a min. WHAT am i doing on here when i got this lovely game sitting here .........

that is fookin quality. Unfortunately dont come out on PC till next year. Vice City was too slow and fidgety on PS2, much much better on PC.

Be very VERY wary about trying to "obtain" this before the release date. Rockstar Games are monitoring as many p2p sites as possible, and are looking at prosecuting ANYONE they detect sharing even 0.01% of the game.

Dixons are gonna have a deal on for £40, you get San Andreas. Drakenlord (?) Extra non official controller and a cheat disc.
San andreas by itself is listed as £40 at the moment, hopefully be £30 on release day if this other deal is around though.
Hopefully this game will stop me going out on the piss every night

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas jacked
Less than a week before its release, the wildly anticipated crime game has itself been stolen and republished on the Internet.
Less than a week after a pirated version of Halo 2 began appearing on the Web, another of the year's most sought after games has been stolen. Ironically, it also happens to be a game titled after a larcenous act itself. That's right. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has become the latest victim of piracy, with illegal copies of the game, its manual, and its cover appearing on various Web sites.
Late today, Rockstar issued a statement on this latest in a series of unfortunate events. "The proper authorities are investigating the theft and are continuing to investigate all possible leads to ensure there is no further dissemination of our creative content," read the statement. "Downloading, possession and distribution of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, including making the game available on the internet, is theft." Then came this warning from the company: "We take the theft of our intellectual property very seriously and we are and will continue to diligently and aggressively pursue this matter."
For those wishing to help track down the San Andreas thieves, Rockstar also offered the following advice: "If anyone finds information on websites with links to unauthorized downloads, information, scans or videos, please contact us at *****@********." Rockstar officials also emphasized the fact that the theft would not affect Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas' release plans. The game is due in the US next Tuesday, October 26, and in Europe next Friday, October 29. However, it is already clear that with four of the year's top games--GTA: San Andreas, Halo 2, Doom 3, and Half-Life 2---being posted online before their official releases, piracy is becoming an increasingly common and serious problem for both gamers and the games industry.
