when i changed them abt 3 weeks ago the splugs where black as also the car sometimes coughs when on full gas

i'd get it mapped deffo spose ts better than running lean which can be dangerous

i wouldnt bother tbh, when my temp sensor went all it did was iddle funny and cut out from time to time, cant see the correlation between that and running rich. Temp sensor is also £25 plus VAT

Take it to Mark at Owen Developments. It'll cost you around £300 for mapping, but it'll be done properly.

who mapped it originally if u dont mind me asking? i also had this problem after having the tb's put on, found it was a duff fuel pressure reg. It was mapped properly but then started to go wrong not so long after. After a bit of messing around under the bonnet found the reg was fooked

80 miles for 3/4 of a tank = serious overfuelling. Get it sorted ASAP as you'll be washing the bores with all that excess fuel and you'll soon glaze the bores, wreck the piston rings and fcuk the engine generally with that petrol diluted oil which will be swilling around all the components

There is something wrong there mate. My Paxo does 50 miles to a tenner around town and 100 miles to a tenner motorway. Used to get about the same motorway miles and around 75 miles around town in the 106.

I've got a really heavy foot off the lights too and on roundabouts on motorways
