Is broken down in gerrards cross
There was SO much water
He has lost 2 sideskirts due to massive puddles, ed managed to find one, but the other is MIA
Myke is now waiting for the AA
not quite sure how i managed to get home without ripping my loosely held on front bumper or arch

I feel really bad about that... Luckily I found one side of his car in a puddle, but the other was too far away for me to go look - I'll have a look in the morning though on my way to work though

shitey roads between gerrards cross and chalfont. had been lashing down severely and the water hadn't had a chance to drain away.
didn't expect the first lake which i probably hit at around 30. the water ripped off one of the gsi skirts from it's clips, and pulled me into the kerb which pissed me off the most.
slowed a bit for the second puddle which did no damage, but never saw the third one till it was a bit too late which claimed the skirt from the other side. slowed down to back up and get the thing and the car cut out.
tried for ages to start the fugger but no luck. first thought was a soaked induction kit, but it didn't seem too bad, so must have been damp in the coil or something.
called AA who reckoned 90 mins worst case which would have been 12.25. sat waiting till 12.40 with the radio on, trying to start it again every five mins with no joy.
then thought fuggit, i'm gona get some rest, so kipped till the trucks headlights woke me at 1.45. so much for 12.25 bastards !
he sat in it and turned it over and she fired first time. quite frustrating, but i was too knackered to be embarassed or give a shit about wasting his time.
drove all the way back and been using it today and it's fine. must have just been wet electrics.
Interesting night
cheers to Ed for running bnack in the rain to get two of the bits of skirt.
i found another one on my way back through town, and sent my sister out on her lunch break today to look for the last bit, which she found stuck in a drain inlet
couple of bits have been run over, but hopefully they're repairable.

no worries.
sister found the last bit tday at lunch.
only aesthetic damage now thankfully. looks a bit silly with the white clips all the way down both flanks, but hopefully can get the skirts fixed soon, so not too bad.
