tapping on start up wont be the injectors will it? i got a mapperble ecu, but the fueling is ok, i dont need more maybe if i fit throttle bodies, but what bhp limit will the standard injectors take? how much are bigger injectors, i have a huge injector sat on my desk at work, but its about the size of my viper pmsl! recon i could fit it lol

lifters mate!
its getting cold! so they will tap dependant on oil you use!
bets way is to take them out and flood with cleaner oil and clean out!

The flow rate of the std injectors on teh 16v engines isn't enough, SBD recommend blues or creams and will only get to abotu 60% duty so won't get stressed in there life time.
Broster are you running mappable management or an unichip as they are very different, couldn't run TB on the later set up unless Dblias tB's (which aren't really TB's)
I have a spare set of 16v injectors only 28k use if you want them, just sat in my shed other wise.
My injectors tick all the time, and they've just been referb'd

Then need to change to fully mappable set up for TB's.
