Im turning 17 soon and am looking to get a motor. Ill have about 4-5K to spend on car, insurance and mods. Just wondering what you lads would recomend as a good first car. Was thinking about getting a corsa 1.2, dunno what model yet. Any suggestions welcome.

i'd try and spend as much on the car as you can, then mod it with any extra money you might earn etc. Get a Corsa C

Do your PassPlus and look for a SRi/Sport. It'll be worth it

This is your opinion, but even if it was true (i dont think it is) Corsa C's are going to hold their value's alot better than Corsa B's

nice one mate looks tidy would consider that. How much, roughly, would insurance be though? I will probably get insurance with my mum as the first driver.

Spend as little as poss on your first car, get a shitter for a year, then with a bit of NCB get something with a bit of poke and you will be able to insure it a bit better then! Be patent!
