ok about 2mths ago maybe more i changed the iacv for a brand new one, because car kept cutting out at low revs
had a diagnostics done and it came back with the iacv, and speed sensor
speed sensor was because of the speedo cable snapping, and i had a brand new iacv fitted,
after having the iacv fitted the car started really over revving, between 1-3k at idle and also whilst driving, yet on a morning when its cold it wont hold the revs and just cuts out straight away, and everytime i slow down til its warmed up.
changed the inlet throttle body hose, incase it was cracked (£23 from vaux :mad and this also didnt solve the problem
someone mentioned the temperature sender /sensor, so ive just changed this and the problem still persists
anyone else got any idea what on earth it could be? ive unplugged the lamda sensor, which didnt affect it either
im really gettin annoyed now, the engine comes out in a few weeks anyway but i need this problem solving
please help me

Spice up your sex life by trying a bit of 'rodeo sex'. Take your missus from behind and, holding on tightly to her jugs, call her by the wrong name. See how long you can 'stay mounted' for
"has this been done 2 u sassy"??

My pug did this:
It was caused by a huge build up of Carbon in the idle valve and a faulty potentiometer!!!
Got it all sorted for £30

Sass it defo sounds like the coolant temp sensor. Shit idling and cutting out when cold is one of the main symptoms for that sensor, because it causes overfuelling.
