it does look good, nbut i cant se a PS2 runnig it with that sort of graphics....

People like you that make comments like that really should STFU. The PS1 had about 33mhz clock speed and was able to play GT2 convincingly to become the greatest driving simulator until GT3 came out on PS2. The PS2 is a hugely powerful machine to run just dedicated games on with no O/S to worry about. The level and smoothness of graphics displayed in an early game such as GT3 have only just become available to PC users due to exponentially powerful GFX cards.
The PS2 will be pushed to the limits with GT4, but it is more than capable of displaying the graphics illustrated on the web.

And the in-game graphics will be just as impressive, if not even better than those displayed on websites, aling with decent TV of course The replays add another dimension, granted, but they will look slicker still when in action.

Marketing? most pics have come from individual journalists at game shows like E3, as well as some from Sony themselves.

gt4 will be extremely hard on the ps2, i was playing pro evo 4 (top class game) and it was struggling in parts of it

graphics ain't everything... its all about gameplay. all the old GT games were ace, and had best graphics as a bonus.

been playing gt4 prologue the handling dynamics are spot on and graphics are impressive cant wait for the full game.
