How big is huge? I heard the start straight is over a mile long.

its very very long , yes the first straight is just under a mile, huge jumps that most bikes cant get over them

we went to down to compete about 3 years ago when i used to race, weighed up how fucked the bike would get and cpst to reapir so didnt enter, my brother raced on his quad though!
