Basically I’ve never seen my real blood father since I was about 4. He’s never got in touch etc. My step father is my father as far as I’m concerned as my mother re married when I was only 2 and I want nothing to do with my blood farther. Now the thing is, my granddad (my blood father) has cancer and my Mum wants me to go and see him but I have always said I want nothing to do with them as they have never got in touch with me, send me a Birthday card etc. I’m just putting it off saying to my Mum that I will ring him etc but I just don’t want to.

That fact that he's has never got in touch makes me think he couldn't give a fuck if he ever sees me or not.

Apart of me says go and see him, yet another says fuck the old cunt, he's never wanted to see me. He knows my parents phone number and there address.

Maybe he feels ashamed for deserting you at such a young age? Perhaps it would take you to make the first move. If he's an asshole tell him to GTF and then you'll know that he's an ass, if you don't then you'll end up regreting it when your older.

my dad left me when i was 5 mate n if it was my desision to make i wouldent go but id probs regret it later in life know it dosent realy help mate but your not alown
