my best mate finally passed his test!! hes 22yrs old!!!!!!!!!!!

he's thinking of getting a 1.4 or a 1.6 clio 16v Dynamique new shape 2002 onwards model
ive heard they are very good, what sort of spec is it? BHP, Torque, 0-60, 1/4 miles???

my mate has the 1.6 16v, hes had quite a few electrical problems. Drives nice enough but feels like ur sat on rather than in it, took me a bit of getting used to.

Dont get a 1.6, something like double the insurance group or the 1.4 and only 10bhp more. My mates got a Billabong 1.4, based on the Dynamique, tis a nice motor, no leg room in back tho if your over 3 foot driving! Not much kit for your £ tho, cd, airbags, alloys and fogs. Oh and manual roof

1.6 is 8 for the normal, and 10 for the dynamic +
1.4 is group 5

one my mates has 1.2 16v and its pretty nippy in its class, and overall a nice reliable car!!
hmmm, the 1.4 is impressive with 100BHP!!! but the 1.6 sounds poor with just 110BHP! is the 1.6 clio very restricted like the 1.6 Corsa??

what are the tuning capabilities of the Clio 1.4 compared to the 1.6??

the 1.6 is used in super 1600 rally, makes 220bhp iirc
