just for the record, aussies call antirole bars sway bars.
in the uk all but the 1.2 8v had a rear antirole bar. so therefore that article isn;t as relevent to us.
i had a 1.6 sport rear atb on my corsa and to be honest i didnt notice any difference over the standard one. its probably more noticable on a car with IDRS unlike the corsas fixed.

The rear 'stabilizer' bar on the UK corsas is crap...

Its not a proper one to my knowledge like is shown on the whiteline car...

Would u tho need to remove the uk stabilizer bar in order to fit the whiteline rear ARB??

I'm sure that the Corsa does'nt have a rear anti roll bar.

Not like that yellow and blue one in the pics which is bolted to the rear axle anyway.

exactly ollie thats wat im saying the bar in the axle doesnt do the same job as an ARB as far as i know.

So which is my best option, koni adjustible dampers or the whiteline rear ARB??

do corsa's not have a rear anti roll bar that is actually part of the rear beam itself?

on golf's your meant to run the extra rear bar in conjunction with the existing rear bar that is inbuilt into the beam.

ill guarantee you now that a GSI/SRI running aftermarket arb's (front & rear) on std shox's & springs well feel a lot better than a GSI/SRI on equivalent value uprated shock's & springs

that whiteline one looks to run conjunction with the standard one. the rear atb runs underneath the beam.

Yeah it bolts to the bottom of the beam, will it make the back end too flat if i just fit the rear without upgrading the front one to the thicker 27mm item aswell?

can u adjust the stiffness on the coilovers? an extra 1/2 turn would probably compensate.

or just get hold of a 26mm front bar of a TD

Fit both ARB from Whiteline. If you fit only the rear one it will tend to oversteer
But Konis need to be revalved (Whiteline ones are) because they are to hard if you fit them to Eibach springs (my setup)I think Whiteline spings have lower spring poundage then Eibach ones
fit Sparco or Omp front upper strut braces and D&W lower front strut brace and rear strut brace (cheaper than Whiteline one)

so the nova springs used on that corsa gsi in the above article will definately fit a corsa?
i have been on to a few people and i am going to order 4 whitline -50 nova springs to fit to some koni adjustables. the springs are costing 150 quid inc vat and will take a month to arrive.
just want to know if they will definately fit the konis before i order...

might well be worth getting the whiteline dampers aswell steeve, as ffls says there revalved knois to match the springs better.

VCant adjust the coilover stiffnedss no, there fixed rate dampers.

I'd love to fit both but dont have the cash to do both with them being £100 each...

thus my only options are 22mm rear whiteline ARB or Koni adjustible dampers to replace my fixed rate dampers.

i could but its a lot of effort as no local scrappies have any corsas (i know i have been looking for interior cards) and id rather just get the front whiteline one too at a later date, just cant afford both now.

The 24mm one i have should tide me over a month or 2??

I kno that this is an old thread but I have been meaning to buy the whiteline ARB since I heard how good they are.

Well i finally took the plunge and ordered one from Demon Tweeks. Its the 22mm version.

Are they difficult to fit?

Thanks, Steve
