what do you mean.... 'cant see how it runs'

The turbo spins up using the exaust gases from the exhaust manifold.... The impeller sucks in air from the cone and feeds it oot that top pipe which when finished will go to the throttle body

pretty simple

If it's stable good on the lad

Thats how all turbos work

On N/A nova's - because its not going to be too reliable, its not that easy to make a manifold fit etc etc

Its not an easy job, just an easy idea

it isnt actually that hard to turbo a nova my mates 1.6 turbo is basically a standard gte lump wtih a t3 bolted on and thats running nye on 200bhp and runs 14.2 quarters and thats with a cracked piston and the seals hanging out of the turbo they are reasonably reliable as long as ya dont up the boost to much his nova runs 10 psi all day long but as soon as he ups the boost he has problems if he runs it at high boost for long periods

not the best pic of his engine bay much better in the april total vaux

the nova i so nearly bought!! 1.6 gte turbo, that used the courtenay 5th injector to trick the ecu into overfuelling when the turbo span up, ran 10-14 psi and was fairly fast!
Only problem it has blown up a few times since, so glad i didnt but it!
2 headgaskets are used to lower the compression ratio as well!
