I really couldn't give a shit. When your important people write letters for you. I'm not important yet so I have to make do with my own spelling. Luckily it is far better than most of the idiots on this site so I have not got much to worry about for now, while I wait until I become important.

I can't wait that long. Before, when vibrio was still alive on CS, your spelling would have been worthy of someone studying for a BA (Hons) in English.
Nowadays you're lucky if you pass the 11-plus.

I got an A in GCSE English (I know GCSE's mean bugger all). I'm doing a BSc in Design and Technology next year. I'm educated, but not nearly enough it seems
