I'm a student so i don't have hundreds of spare cash around. Now i wanted to buy a new coat for up to £80 (i though that was a bit much be i wanted something half decent). So i goes to town with a mate and we are looking around and i don't see nothing i fancy so we go into every shop we know and we're looking around. My mates like, £30 for a t-shirt isn't bad and £75 for a top isn't bad. I would never pay more than £20 for a t-shirt or £35 for a top. Am i being a tight arse or is he just plain stupid He still lives at home and busses it around and gets paid around 1k a month ao he's got a few quid to throw around. The thing is though is that he is always lending money off me

borrowing money from you, not lending.

I refuse to pay silly amounts for clothes, whats the point, i actually prefer a lot of the cheaper ranges of clothes, find them more comfortable etc, no point spending silly money if you can get something just as good for less and without a brand name.

It's split, you don't get all the money at once. The first payment pays for my fees. My fees have come to 1325 this year becasue i failed a module and i get a permit for the car park

lol mate, your wrong there lad. Uni, starting next year, will cost me over 5k in fees alone, so a student loan wont even pay my fees

but yea, depends how much you like labels. Some stuff is alright, alot is over priced....but then again if you have the money to burn, then why not
