I remember people always used to use one strap of thier bag (going across your chest), record bags such as 'World Dance' and 'Slammin Vinyl', the pikies who always wore stuff like spliffy and eclipse jeans 
Not forgetting the good old giving someone a peanut in thier school tie!

the rock type people wore chains outta pockets and those plastic ghey bands around their wrists, leather straps around wrists as well.
Everyone else was pretty much the same, apart from the pikies - wearing trainers instead of shoes and jeans instead of trousers etc
