mate just let me drive his mk 4 golf gti 1.8 tubby with superchip.

he just showed me the dyno graphs... 192BHP according to them.

right fast, torquey, great handling, smooth BUT BUT BUT!!!

its just not raw enough..... like im doing 110 down the motorway which is the fastest ive ever driven and it just felt like sitting at home in an arm chair i only slowed down incase there was coppers around.

maybe i should have switched the ASR thingy off

just didn't feel agressive enough.....

your proabaly right jimmy... starting to think this 1.6 corsa project will be a bit of a dissapointment

although having said that i suppose a corsa will always feel like a tin shed... i hope anyways.

yes cars like these dont wine at 90mph , i can be in 3rd at 100+ and not relise it.

It varys a lot from car to car, 100mph in my old r5 turbo(mostly standard apart from full scorpian exhaust) seemed a hell of a lot faster then 100 in my gt4, although 150 in the celica, seems fucking fast, sometimes i think i am gonna take off

no you wont i drive my dads cars evrynow and then and they are fast and feel fast. ok not the fastest cars on the road, but a 4.2 e-type jag with 270bhp, and a 911 carrera 89model with hayward and scott eshaust and RUF chip, and then i get in my corsa and even tho its only 140bhp from a 1.6 it still feels quick as its a small car and end of the day its only a corsa,, even my dad says its nippy for what it is.

do both have LSD and traction controll? this one has both and it looks lowered too and i know he didnt lower it.

have ESP but no LSD a as standard, might have ADL which isnt a LSD but acts like one in a way
