can you buy locks for the glovebox from anywhere or is it a custom job? seen a few cars with it so do vauxhall sell em or something?

Go find a early SRi with a lock on the glovebox, take glovebox out and fit to yours.

go to vauxhall and by a retumberlling kit for the lock, then you cna make your key fit the lock

Think it was cars without central locking that got glove box key locks (or pre97 anyway)
After a while they're usless tho, One I was in the car I could open my mates just by pressing my thumb on it and turning it round.
My post97 central locking does not have one.
