is it worth goin to work on me bike?

1st up am gonna need a new bike

i live a few miles away from work bout 5-10mins ride

3mins in car

winter is comming i know, but on a good day?

I always used to walk befoe i got another car, took about 30 mins to walk to work...

I used to always walk to uni before i got a car. Took me 50 mins but it kept me fit. Now it takes 10 mins in the car

Gonna have to get fit again, need to re-join the gym

If I were to ride to work i wouldnt get here untill lunchtime!!

I usually do an hour or two after work, and can ride where I want to rather than along smelly busy roads !

I'm away to start walking to work, its only about 5-10 minutes (have to cross a main road, so traffic)

i had an idea once that it might be an idea to bike to town to save on parking, petrol etc....... this was short lived

I cycled 12 miles to town one evening after school (2 years ago)

Got about 2/3's in and it started raining but still went on

i used to cycle 5.5 miles to work then 5.5 miles to get home just to save petrol and get fit and deff worth it

i'm gonna start riding to work soon to save petrol money, need a bike tho. it would probably take 2 years of not driving to pay for the bike so is there any point
