spoke to fk today and they said they will all they can to sort the problem they want the old unit back to see
1. why its rusted
2. why its broken
cos they said they have never see 1 go like this before and hopefuly i should be gettin a new set of dampers gona try blag some konig sports

only problems i had is getting the fecking camber and tracking right... all sort now though.

ive had mine erm... about 3-4 months(saem as painz,adi etc...)


feck i hope that that dont happen at high speed.......

i suppose if someone else has the same problem then they will deffo have to look into it shame u had to be the guinepig dude

also goo news that they will send u a new unit....

hopefully it was was a 1 bad apple

Yea went strait to fk the dealer where i got them were't intrested cos they are out of warranty by 3 months but as i said these dampers should last longer than 15 months and 3k miles the guy @ fk was very helpful and happy that id brought the problem to his attention as he said "thats looks a bit dangerous"

definately a result then.

and damn right they should be pleased if you've brought a manufacturing fault to their attention without any serious accidents or injuries.
think if they kept pumping them out with faults and a set failed at high speed. imagine the compo they'd have to fork out.

from the pics its looks like the whole plate rusted through rather than the welds breaking.

no it didnt damage anything
drove the car to my garage where i stripped it down and that when i noticed it that realie shit me up then cos of the speed i was doing
