reminds me of the Lotus Railton engine that was originally designed for planes but put it in the first racing car

it wasn't an estate car, but the engine is a Rover SD1 v12 Meteor engine

A guy featured in the mag has also fitted a subaru engine into a vw beetle, proper engingeering, something the wee burberry chavs cant get their heads round

tbh, whats the point in that 27lt engine getting wacked into the car? it will be slower than the original, will probably shake the car apart, have crap fuel consumption etc etc
its like saying "lets put a spitfire engine into a corsa"....WHY ?!?!?!?!?

however, i do understand the beetle with the scooby engine.....there is performance gain at the end of it

however, two anwsers to your stereotype that everyone who doesnt buy this mag and doesnt fit non-OE engines to their cars are chavs, is because its more hassle than its worth and secondly, because its expensive to do (and usually if you do something that already been done, then it works out alot cheaper).

picked this mag up the 0other day in smiths quite a good read tho cos shows everyday cars etc and there possibilities in detail.
