need a small loan of £2000 to finish my car as i have ran out of money

this is proving to be a problem as i am still a student

Many banks are saying they do not offer students loans, nationwide for example are saying i have to earn £400 a month in order for me to obtain a loan

this obviously is pretty shite!

Anyone know where i can get one???

Loans are bad, if you cannot afford it don't do it.

if i were able to get a loan from nationwide i would only pay back and extra £130.

i would give that to tramps in a year when i am pissed!

In reality there is a good reason the bank won't give you a loan - because you will be skint and may struggle with repayments. If you can't afford it don't buy it - live within your means ( a valuable lesson i learnt the hard way)

Yes, you learn the hard way.

I done what you are doing J20 PHL, and it was wank.

It took me 2 years of doing very little to pay off all my debts and save a decent amount of money to build the car I always wanted to do and I only owe Rachel £280 for my insurance deposit.

Don't get a loan, you will regret it.

As a student you can surely get a loan to help with your housing an such like, on top of the standard means tested loan you get from the student loans company. Not everyone can survive on the £3000-£4000 you are given by the student loans company. So go get a loan on that basis and spend it differently.

I'd rather save up and wait rather than getting it quickly and being in debt afterwards.
