My excuse was it was the quickest route from my gym, to the pub. He then said he doesnt want to have to pick me up for drink driving later. they ended up being ok though. they were taking the piss out of the bloke behind because he drove through the bus lane and tried to deny it. they said its the people like me (with my battered up old for ka (at the time)) that pay up straight away, but him (in his big merc s-class with private reg etc) would drag it out, and take ages....oh how we laughed

I got a ticket and had to send a cheque in the post. they were waiting behind a bush. it was easy pickings coz it cuts off about 2 miles of the journey.

oh right maybe the camera was just a cctv cam althought it did say bus lane camera in operation

You might be lucky, but most of the CCTV cameras in London anyway are used for bus. lane charging. £100 fine or €50 if paid within 2 weeks of receiving the ticket.

£100 fine and if you werent got by the camera then you will prolly be got with a bus cam, they all have cams and the tapes are viewed after shift for offenders
