you'd need to take it somewhere with a dti really i think.
i don't think they warp so much that it's visible by eye.

so cant i just put it backon with a new gasket can i put on 2 gaskets i got told on migweb it works

That would lower the compression though? You can put it back on, but if it is warped then you will need to replace the head gasket next week and the week after and the wee.... you get the point.

did it over heat pretty severley or just lose compression?

if it didn't overheat, then it's likely to be fine. i'd risk it without even checking, that way you can put it straight back on.

you run the risk of it going again couple of months down the line, but at least you'd have had practise for that time.

no it ran out off water when i was in ware and i didnt notis and i kept driving it so what does that mean

a hose could have come off !

did you assume it was a gasket failure just from that? surely you must have checked for other symptoms?

yer there was a fucking big hole in one off the hoses i fixed it and then all the oil went white lol then i knew it was a gasket lol but do i need to skimm it
