I'm going to uni in a couple of weeks, so my car is going in the garage, cos there is nowhere to put it at the halls i'm staying at. So do i....
A Keep my car in storage, save up some money during the year and when i come back in the summer put a C20XE in it and sort out the suspension and brakes.
B Sell it, as is, with all the stuff still on it, save the money and buy something newer and quicker next summer
or
C Return it to standard and sell all the bits seperatly, again getting a better car next summer
Car is a 98 R 1.0 LS, with a set of 15's, lexus lights, badgeless grille, exhaust system, it's immaculate an its done 43,000
Sorry for long post !!!

so do u reckon i'd get a better price in total from returning it to standard. I'd love to do the C20XE thing, but saving the money to do the conversion and insure it would be a task.

standard it if you want to sell it, from experience, mods dont highten the value, and if anything they will lower it

good point. Having said that though, u would have thought that a slightly modded 1.0 like mine or urs would sell well as they appeal to first drivers cos of insurance and are already slightly modded, giving them a head start and saving them money.

thought about doing that, but the only problem is that i don't know where i'm gonna stay in my 2nd an 3rd years, so might need to commute to uni, so if i spend the money, i won't have any to buy a car. I like the idea of a c20, but just concerned about reliability and how economical it would be cos i would drive home occasionally (sheffield to my home near derby)
