Don't buy a GT if you are into Vauxhalls, you think the Vauxhall costs lots to maintain. Wait until you get the GT.

Punto HGT 1.8 16v 130 bhp 0-60 8.6 top end 127mph. Not bad but the 0-60 is a little dissapointing

The first link is to a HGT .

Can understand what you mean by having to spend money on it, but thats only because you want stuff doing to it. Personally i still dont understand why you never bought a better car when you had to look for a replacement, Your old one was perfect bodywise as i remeber compared to this one. Too late to worry about that now though.

As far as im aware, theres nothing mechanically wrong with the car at the moment is their? also the body problems are only really cosmetic, so arent vital. Seems a shame after you've spent so much on it of late to now get rid of it.

If it were me, i wouldnt get rid of it. Its not really worth much in its current state, so you stand to loose a fair bit of cash on it, unless you split it for parts of course. Even then theres the hassle of taking it all apart, and sending off/selling all the bits. Depends what you want out of the car really i suppose, and if you dont think its worth sticking with it, then its proberbly best to part company with it .

If theres one thing i cant stress enough though, its that the final descistion needs to be one thats been arrived at by you, with no-one elses input hindering it. If its not your descision you'll proberbly regret it.
