eibach springs arnt expensive... about £120 for a 45mm drop and there verly good springs.....

however yer car is gonna handle sh*t with just springs man... save up and get a matched spring/shock combo.

please dont learn the hard way about lowering your car 60mm

mines lowered 60mm and its totally impractical, the camber is now out, so ive got bald tyres every 2mths, it eats bearings for fun.... ride is really harsh and get stuck on everything ( tho im on standard gsi rims )

im tempted to take mine back up to 40mm

all them problems arnt related to JUST lowering 60mm, mines been down 100mm now its 70mm rear and 60mm front, not had any problems with eating thru tyres, also wit hthe 15s on they are smaller diameter than the gsi wheels so its lower. sounds like you have some damage to the suspension

no like the tie bars wishbones etc? cant blame the way you go thru tyres on suspension, u must drive fast everywhere and wheel spin to get thru tyres like that, or buy remolds or shite tyres! as for eating bearings, im down low and have been for over a year, done 50,000miles like it and not gone thru any yet
