jesus the search is as good as a chocolate teapot for pacific questions!

right...

Question on the topic are..

1. Does the driveshafts/cv's/hubs need to be changed?

2. If i'm taking the power steering pump off the engine will the 1.2 engine mount work or will i need a different mount?

3. will the wheel bearings need to be changed?

i'll add more silly questions when i think of them

got the engine yesterday

dont let it be said that i cant drive 200 miles with an engine in the boot of a corsa

how its comming out of there i'm not too sure yet

you can take the p/s pump off youll need to change it too v belt and change alt to vbelt and the lower crank/drivebelt pulley to a sri 8v one with the cas sensor notches on

then depending on which type of mount you have on the car will decide if you need a nount if its the later one i have a brand new mount you can have

the v'belt of your engine and a drivebelt pulley with cas notches in it

The way the vacume hoses are plumbed in looks weird, there is an extra connection on your set up??? normally the servo hose and other vacume hoses run into the same connection, dont think it should matter though, you want a superchip you do, ya can have my mantzel superchip for the right price lol

instant 40mm lower that, lol, when i had my engine in, i seperated the gear box and took the head off, then i could easily, lift the gear box on it own, head and the engine with help from me dad, my claim to fame is i managed to put a complete C16XE in me car on me own, i had to kick the engine under the car then lift it into place, it was a nightmare.!!!
TBH that looks like a fooking nightmare to move, i would rmove all plastic trim necessary cos its gonna get scratched up and put sheets everywhere to protect paint work, good luck thats a logistic nightmare
