Went down peugeot garage earliar cos i was bored shitless. Intended to see some 106 gti's but they had none. All they had was a 106 quiksilver coming in a couple of days. Anyway they forced my phone number out of me and want me to come see it. So mite as well. What they like performance wise - cos i love the look of them but not sure about the performance. How do they respond to basic engine mods - zorst n filter etc.? Cheers

zorst and filter will add about another 10bhp , can get 0-60 in 9 point summit after them

I got one,
Performance is not the greatest, acceleration is poor if any standard.
Zorst and forced induction kit make a vast difference.
Interior seats are as flat as a pancake no support whatsoever.
But looks wise cant go wrong lowered on right set of alloys and thats it.

Its a good car id say, just lacks the performance, rear disc brakes, and interior the gti has.

hmmm, would sort it out with a gti interior defo. Seems the engine will be a let down for me after my corsa sport. What they like for reliability and fuel consumption and running costs?

Reliability, ive had myn about 7 months now. Only thing thats give me a problem is a stupid Airbag light but thats a common with most 106's.
Feul consumption is not that bad really, i get a months worth outta a full tank of petrol (£30) haxard a geuss around 300miles?
Running costs arent that bad either.

hope this helps.

They are pretty wank to be honest. A guy at my old school has one, and thought it was the best car ever... He even thinks it will beat my car when I got the valver in. I can't wait to piss all over his stupid face!
