This is such a hard dession.

The SXi is now mine,

i dont pay a penny on it, so my monthly income has no expenditure...

im even lucky enough to not to pay insurance each month.

The problem is to get the SRi i would need to get a loan,

(only about 4-5k)

The insurance in my own name would be about £1300 a year,

I would have to own both the SRi and SXi for a while whilst i swap everything off my SXi onto the SRi (makng the SXi standard and the SRi kitted)

Is it really worth my doing it? After all the only difference is the 0.6 of a liter...

Im just so unsure on what to doooo!!

No point imo, wait a while and get a totally different car.

But just my opinion, its your car, you decide

Doesn't sound worth it to me.

For 4-5k you could get a bigger engine fitted to the SXi if you really want more power.

I want a solid reliable car..

Not worth it at all.

Keep yours, looks nice. You don't need anything faster.

Be inclined to agree, not worth changing unless its for something alot different you aint gonna feel like u've got £5k's more of car for the sake of an extra bit of poke

Thats why i said it would cause issues.
Would be good.

The other option is to work around the Multiplex wiring and fit a C20LET or Xe instead.

Keep the SXi or change for something else rather than the SRi

change for a different car if you really want a change if your wanting somthing faster. is 4-5K really worth it. why not put the money that your saving away for a couple of years and use it as a deposit on a house

The reason i wouldnt do that,

is i love the look of my car

i love corsas,

And i have spent far to much on my corsa just to get a different car now.

I really cant decide,

Its such a big dicission

Don't change for another corsa especially if you want more power. As others have said if you want more power go for something else not another corsa.
