People, i have recently graduated from uni studying a Business and Business Information Technology degree. But at the moment i am clueless as to what i would like to work as. I have looked into banking but there doesnt seem to have much and i have also looked into IT but the stuff we learnt in uni was useless

But its in the long run uni helps. 15k + 10% commision may very well be a lot just now but what about in 10 years? The graduate will most likely be earning far greater than that while most people that were earning 15k will still be there.

x8john is right.
Happy - how can you find nothing in banking?????? You are within commuting distance of London, apply to the investment banks, talking 35-40k start salary plus whopping bonus.

Depends on the job/degree course. Most of the time you will start on the same wage as people who have a degree, on ly with that underneath them, they can keep on going, where as those who dont will be "capped" at a certain level. Her job may be the same as yours, but if opportunities arise, she'll be the favoured candidate, as she is better qualified. Obviously it depends on whether she's shit at her job or not still .
