You are out bid by 1 pound, or in my case 1 dollar!! Bid on a Blitz boost guage, auction ended at 2 and i went to bed at 1, and some tosser bid 1 dollar more than me and won it gggggrrrrr went
for about twenty quid in sterling, what a bargain!

Yep but then again his max bid could of been $20 higher than yours you just dont know

if you make a max bid does that mean you have to pay that for the item or can you just bid a bit above the oppostion each time?

It alway sell at lowest price it will ony go to your max bid if someone else matches or beats it same for other bidder

Its called a proxy bid, its the amount you're prepared to bid up to. The price increases by the increment (which varies based on the current price - higher price, larger increment) up to your proxy. You don't have to pay the highest price you enter, just the amount inside of that that beats other bidders.

search on kaza for a program called bid snipe, it will put a bid in for u 5 secs before auction ends u will win every time

Software to snipe is not rare, and they're only alright if no-one betters your best bid by proxy in the last seconds.
