Call me sad (actually please don't, not to my face anyway!) but ive got a thing about milages. I seem to be in my car all the time, but only do about 5,000 a year. In work today we had a 51 reg Galaxy 1.9TDI on 246,000! Its not even 3 years old yet. How sore must his arse be! What highest milage anyones seen on a young car?

Aye it was a taxi! We also get Express Freight Transit vans in on 180,000 on an 02, and the TNT delivery Fiestas do 200,000 in two years. Thats like 2,000 miles a week. Ouch

I read on migweb once, a guy who ran a company with his dad.

They had a Zafira GSi which was driven daily from Ipswich -> Calisle and back (like 250miles each way). It was like an 02 plate and has over 200k on it!

It had had 3 cambelt changes and 20 oil changes in like 22 months just from routine servicing

I never got my head round why they used a 2.0 turbo people carrier when they knew they were goin to do that many miles. Image how many thousand pounds they would have saved using a derv!
