just drove past a big meet in wakefield n a police man had a massive black camera on his shoulder,just wondering was he recording speed or ppl??

happened at a cruise up my way before, ask what it was for and they said they record footage around your car and then send it off to your insurance company to make sure all the mods that are apparent in the film are declared on the drivers insurance policy. this might be a different thing though

yeah went to a cruise in Reading...he took pics of absolutely everyone that came in and blinded us all, they also had a video camera, they busted a few ppl for minor things and that was about it

They just use the film for evidence in case of any public order offences, they also use them to see if the same people attend the cruises etc and whether they are known crims, all stuff like that.

i dont understand why they use so much resources on a small lil meet...in reading there was gonna be about 20/30 of us just sittin there chattin etc. ppl werent due to meet until 8ish, but coz I had to drive so far I got there at 6 :s there was already a van there with 4 coppers...at 8 there was 3 vans, 3 cars, and about 20 officers it was more of a meet for the coppers
