Anyone got it?

Tried a demo and thought it was ace so i went and bought it yesterday. But it doesnt seem to want to work for me, it just comes up a black screen for 2 secs then goes back to the desktop.

Demo worked fine, dont understand why the full game wont.

i've got it, its gr8, i had this prob m8, i downloaded the lastest graphics card drivers n direct x n it werk fine after

try putting your settings to 32bit.

Far Cry is awesome, just a shame the ending is a bit weak!

I've played quite a bit of Doom 3 now and in my opinion FarCry is much better, the large outside levels are fantastic.

I dont know much about computers, whats the minimum spec i should have for it?

Far Cry is closer to a tech demo than a proper game.

Doom 3 is just Doom 2, except a better graphics engine.

tbh i didnt really take to it that much amazing graphics, i ahd problem with cutting out too just updated video drivers and worked fine.

Like doom 3 better, more storyline to it.

doom 3 is a copy of half life!

go find someone

aliens attach a lab..

kill lots of aliens

marines turn up

go to the alien planet..

etc etc..

so then half-life copied doom2?
And tbh the storyline is so much better executed in doom3 if you read and listen to all the information you pick up through the game really adds to the atmosphere.

I think that Doom 3 is let down by the fact you can't use the torch and a gun at the same time. You can either see the enemy OR shoot at them, but not both. Kind of annoying as they have a habit of moving!

would be abit hard to use a shotgun and torch at same time though really lol
